Red Garden and Viña Memorias Announce Import and Distribution Partnership

Airmont, NY—March 22, 2022—

Red Garden Inc., importer and distributor of fine wine and spirits, is pleased to announce that it is the exclusive United States importer of Viña Memorias, the award-winning Molco family winery, located in the Protected Designation of Origin Utiel-Requena, 45 miles inland from Valencia, Spain.

Annie Molco and her family established Viña Memorias in 2016 to make wines from the region’s historic, but rapidly disappearing, varietal. Overshadowed in sales by better known wine grapes, Molco realized that neighboring vineyards were uprooting their historic Bobal vines in order to plant more popular strains. Located in a region with a rich 2,500 year old winemaking tradition, Viña Memorias’ old vine Bobal vineyards have played an important role in Spanish winemaking. Molco and her family decided to take on the challenge of producing high-quality, terroir-driven wines.
